About Michael Petrie:
Michael Petrie is a New Jersey native who completed his undergraduate work at the Richard Stockton University in 1993 and his graduate work at Fairleigh Dickison University in 1995 with a focus on I/O Psychology and Human Factors Engineering. During his graduate work, Michael was an honors society member and completed both an internship in Industrial Psychology at AT&T and an assistantship for the Chairman of Psychology.
Following his education, Michael continued his involvement in academia securing both adjunct and assistant teaching posts while also maintaining full-time employment within the non-profit, insurance and EAP sectors starting with a post as an HR director within a social services agency.
He then moved into the for-profit sector serving as both consultant and account executive primarily within the Employee Assistance marketplace providing hands on employee consultations, management trainings and sales presentations.
Throughout his education and experience, Michael consistently honed and called upon his information technology skills to provide tangible solutions to business needs.
In 1999, he formally called upon these skills and joined the ever-growing IT sector within Behavioral Health as a systems analyst and project manager with a focus on dynamic database-driven web-based applications serving both practice management and clinical documentation.
His skills include most aspects of modern web-based programming, SQL database, and platform presentations and training. Michael has since evolved into focusing primarily on the development and implementation of web based applications, electronic interfaces, portals and solutions for all marketplaces. Michael is currently serving as the Managing Partner of Virtulink, LLC, a New Jersey based firm.
